PHP in FastCGI Mode in ISPmanager

This article will help you to know how to use PHP in FastCGI mode in the ISPmanager control panel.

To use PHP in FastCGI mode, follow the steps:

  1. Log into the panel as root.
  2. Go to the Settings > Software configuration section.
  3. Highlight the line Web-server (WWW), click button, and choose Edit or choose Edit in the upper menu.

  4. In the new window, check Apache MPM-Prefork and PHP Module.
  5. Click Save.

  6. To give the user access to FastCGI, in the Users section, highlight the user you need, click button, and choose Edit or choose Edit in the upper menu.

  7. In the Access tab, select the PHP as FastCGI (Apache) mode.
  8. Click Save.

  9. Log in to the panel as the user for whom the changes were made (in our example, www-root). To go to the panel as this user, in the Users section select the line with the required user, click button and choose  Log in as user or click Log in as user in the upper menu.

  10. In the Sites section, highlight the domain you need, click button, and choose Edit or choose Edit in the upper menu.

  11. Go to the Handler (PHP) tab.
  12. In the PHP mode item, select FastCGI (Apache) from the drop-down list.
  13. Click Save.
