ISPmanager Control Panel Interface Description

This article will help you to know about ISPmanager interface elements.

Authorization

The first acquaintance with the ISPmanager control panel begins with the authorization form. To go to the panel, use the https://xx.xx.xx.xx:1500 link, where xx.xx.xx.xx is the IP address of your server, with the root password. Provide a login (username) and password to access the control panel. You can select the interface language in which menus, field headers, tooltips, and other messages will be displayed.

Dashboard

After entering the panel, the main page (Dashboard) will appear, containing the Taskbar tab for performing basic actions and other tabs containing basic information of the ISPmanager panel:

  • Taskbar
  • System information
  • Server software
  • Change log
  • About ISPmanager
  • Server resources
  • Active sessions
  • Background tasks
  • Access log

Information can be presented in the form of graphs and charts and can be closed, removed or updated.

Navigation Menu

The navigation menu is a list of control panel sections available to the user, it is located in the upper left corner.

Navigation menu has 4 stages:

  • all items
  • main items
  • favorite items
  • popular items

The corresponding buttons are available to switch the state:

  • Collapse menu
  • Main menu
  • Favorites
  • Popular
  • Search

The navigation menu also contains a search bar, allowing users to quickly find a module in a large collection.

Active Buttons

In the upper right corner of the ISPmanager panel, there are active buttons that allow you to perform the following operations:

icon1 This is a tool that allows you to find information quickly within different sections of the panel. Enter keywords or phrases in the search field and the system displays relevant results from different sections. This greatly simplifies access to the necessary data and increases the panel work efficiency.

Selecting panel themes. The panel provides several theme options to customize its interface.

  • Light theme. A lightened color scheme that creates a light and clean interface to work with.
  • Dark theme. Dark color scheme, which creates a darker interface that can be pleasing to the eye in low light conditions.
  • System theme. The panel follows the system theme of the current device, providing a consistent style with the desired preferences.
icon3 This is a tool that allows you to upload files and documents directly to the panel. This is a convenient way to import information and materials for further work.
icon4 The panel provides a notification feature that allows you to receive important messages and alerts. You can customize notifications to suit your preferences, choosing which events and messages to receive and which to ignore. This helps to keep abreast of current events and changes.
icon5 The user's personal settings button provides control over the personal profile and preferences. Here you can set up your profile, change your password, set the interface language and much more. You can also use this section to exit the panel if you need to end your work session. This ensures security and manageability of your account in the panel.

 

Toolbar

Each section of the ISPmanager panel has a toolbar, which contains various buttons to perform certain actions:

icon6 Adds a link to the form to the clipboard.
icon7 Adds a section to Favorites.
icon8 Pins a tab to a panel.
icon9 Saves data in CSV format.
icon10 Opens useful links.

 

Set Filters

You may set filters in ISPmanager panel, to easily search the information you need.

To use the filter function using the “Sites” section as an example, follow the steps:

  1. Go to the Sites section.
  2. In the window that opens, click button, and choose Filter by user.

  3. Also, in the window that opens, you can click on the filter icon icon11 and search according to various parameters.
  4. Click Apply.

Depending on the section you are in, you can search using various parameters.

  • Ctrl+Shift+F – text search within the current page.
  • Find – search according to certain parameters.
  • Save filter – save the specified parameters for the future.
  • Clear – delete all the data in the form.

Help and Tooltips System

ISPmanager panel have tooltips, which are shown either when putting the mouse cursor on the input field, or when moving the mouse cursor over the tooltip icon. To change the behavior of tooltips, go to the User Settings section.

In some sections, you can see links to useful articles where you can find detailed information about setup, configuration, etc.

To access links to useful articles, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the section you are interested in (Sites).
  2. Click the appropriate icon10 button.
  3. Choose the article.
