How to Create Your Own NS in DirectAdmin

To create your own (child) NS using the Direct Admin panel for the admin user:

  1. Go to the control panel as admin.
  2. Go to IP management, and select two IP addresses. Then in Assign to select the user and click Assign to.
  3. In the Access level menu, switch User Level.
    Switch "User Level"
  4. Then switch to Reseller Level and go to Nameservers
    Switch to "Reseller level"
  5. Check the free IP and click Create. Select a domain from the dropdown list.
    Click "Create"
  6. Delegate the domain from your registrar to ns1.your.domain.name and ns2.your.domain.name.
