Data Storage Description

When ordering the “Data storage” service, you are provided with a remote server for storing personal data or backups.

You can order the “Data storage” service on our website in the “Storage” section. Here you can select the storage size and payment period. If you pay for the service for 6 months or for a year, you get an additional discount.

Do you have a lot of data? No problems. is*hosting provides up to 300 TB of storage capacity upon request with a support ticket (at the bottom of the support page). 

Authorization on a remote server for storing data is performed using an SSH key. You can use: FTP, SFTP, SCP, SSH (rsync, sshfs), RSYNC. The traffic is unlimited. Port: 1000 Mb/s.

Service "Data storage" can be used for the following purposes:

• storage of backups of dedicated servers or VPS,
• creation of restore/rollback points before critical updates of dedicated servers or VPS,
• storage of backup copies of databases,
• storage of personal information, home multimedia archives.

The creation of backups can be performed both in manual and automatic mode. Server control panels allow you to configure the automatic creation of backups and their sending to remote storage servers on a schedule.

ATTENTION! The use of the "Data Storage" service for ftp-distributions, commercial and other similar purposes is strictly prohibited! Violation of the rules may serve as a reason to impose restrictions or blocking an account.
