Click on the "Start" button, type "VPN" in the search bar and select "Set up a virtual private network (VPN) connection":
Indicate the "Internet address" that you received by email in the message after activating the service. This IP address is the "VPN Server" for the connection.
In the Destination name field, enter any name for the connection, for example InfernoVPN.
Also check the "Don't connect now" checkbox as shown in the screenshot:
Enter the PPTP/L2TP username and password that you received by email in the message after activating the service:
Select the "Remember this password" checkbox if you do not want to enter the password again each time you connect:
At the next step, you will be asked to connect, click "Close". The settings are not complete yet:
- After that, change the settings of the newly created VPN connection to work over L2TP/IPsec. To do this, click the "Start" button and enter "Network and Sharing Center" in the search bar. Launch the "Network and Sharing Center".
- Select "Connect to the network".
- Right-click on the created VPN connection and click on "Properties".
- In the "Security" tab in the "VPN Type" menu, select - "L2TP IPsec VPN" and click "Advanced Options".
- Select the item "Use a pre-shared key for authentication" and in the "Key" field enter the ipsec shared PSK that you received by email in the message when activating the service.
Congratulations, you can now connect to the VPN server!
