PHP Version Change in ISPmanager

You can install alternative PHP versions in ISPmanager.

To install alternative PHP versions in ISPmanager, follow the steps:

  1. Log into the panel as root
  2. Go to the Settings > PHP Settings.
  3. Highlight the PHP version you need, click button, and choose Install or choose Install in the upper menu.

Alternate PHP versions are installed in the /opt/ directory. Now you can choose different PHP versions for each WWW-domain in CGI mode.

The regular user must have rights to change the PHP version. 

To change the PHP version in ISPmanager, follow the steps:

  1. Log into the panel as root.
  2. Go to the Users section.
  3. Select a user and click Edit.

  4. In the Access tab, click PHP as CGI.
  5. Click Save.

Now, the user can change the PHP version for his domains the following way:

  1. Go to the Sites section.
  2. Highlight the PHP version you need, click button, and choose Edit.

  3. In the Handler (PHP) > PHP mode section, select CGI.
  4. Click Save.
