When you administer your server using the ISPmanager panel, you can use the default basic version of the ImunifyAV antivirus. It allows you to perform scheduled scans, find and automatically eliminate malicious codes in PHP, HTML, JS, system and other files. The free version of the antivirus is a full-featured scanner of malicious scripts without any restrictions.

To cure and remove infected files, purchase the full version. The paid (Premium) version includes the function of automatically cure infected files, scanning sites on a schedule, and notifying the administrator by email about infected sites.

Getting Started with ImunifyAV Antivirus

To install ImunifyAV, follow the steps:

  1. Open the Antivirus section.
  2. Accept the terms of the ImunifyAV license agreement.
  3. Click Accept.

Site check

To check the site, follow the steps:

  1. Select a site to check.
  2. Click button and select Scan or click Scan in the upper menu.

  3. After the scan is complete, the site status appears.
  4. The free version of ImunifyAV can check all sites located on the server.

To cure infected files, ISPmanager suggests using the paid version of Dr.Web antivirus.

Switching to Paid Version of Dr.Web

The paid version of Dr.Web can perform any number of checks. The infected files are also cured or deleted.

To upgrade to the full version, follow the steps:

  1. Go to the Modules section.
  2. Click the Antivirus button.
  3. Click Buy.

If you do not have a personal ISPmanager account, you need to create it during the upgrade to the paid version of Dr.Web. Be sure to include a valid email address. If you already have an account, just enter your username and password.

ImunifyAV Settings

To install ImunifyAV, follow the steps:

  2. Go to the Antivirus section.
  3. Click Settings.

By default, only the root user can change ImunifyAV settings. Other users can only make changes if they have been granted access to this module.

User Access to ImunifyAV

To set up access rights to the module, follow the steps:

  1. Log into the control panel as root.
  2. Go to the Users section.
  3. Highlight the required user.
  4. Click button and select Edit or click Edit in the upper menu.

Email notifications

To configure email notifications, follow the steps:

  2. Go to the Antivirus section.

If email notifications have not been configured on your VPS server yet, do it in the next step. Specify your e-mail and SMPT server port. You can also specify which notifications are sent to the virtual server administrator: authorization, password change, or recovery, etc.

The administrator receives notifications at the frequency specified in the settings. ImunifyAV users who set up notifications for themselves receive reports after scans.
